Knife sharpeners - not knife grinders - so will not damage the knife. There are 3 models of the Chantry to choose from. The Chantry Modern (winner of a 2005 Design Plus award), the Chantry Classic (on permanent display in New York Museum of Modern Art - 1970s design) and the Chantry Retro (original 1940s design).
Each model contains the same workings - choose the model that will best suit your work top. The Chantry is suitable for both plain and scalloped edges, carbon or stainless steel blades. To sharpen your knife simply run the blade between the steels four or five times as if slicing bread.
