| Product Description |
IF 4000 Range of knives - launched at the 2005 International Spring Fair. Winners of a 2006 Design Plus award (Ambiente Frankfurt - Germany) and a gold iF (international Forum) Design award (Hannover - Germany). They have white (or black) handles that are cool to the touch and resilient (a ceramic based material). The blades are made from a high carbon stainless steel that is a combination of carbon, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium - all heat treated to produce significant strength and flexibility. The process of production is precision forging, heat treating (RockwellC53 to C56 degrees), precision grinding and hand honing. Finally, a fine glaze is applied. All this adds up to one of the most sophisticated combinations of modern technology with the experience of Sheffield craftsmanship.
These knives show British design and manufacture at its best.

Bread Knife
Sharp, scalloped edged blade, makes the slicing of bread extremely easy.
CARE & STORAGE:
The handle is made from cool to the touch melamine (hand washed).
To resharpen use a traditional steel or a Chantry Knife Sharpener.
