Certain areas that are the most vulnerable to sun burn (the back, calves, face and back of the neck). Make sure that your child wears a wide-brimmed hat that will help protect the face, forehead and back of the neck; it will also help protect the eyes from glare.
Reapply frequently.
Children should take a shower or bath at the end of the day, then you can apply an after sun.

Sun Safe Advice
- Keep an eye on the time; avoid sun exposure during 11am-3pm when the sun is at its most intense.
- At home and abroad, try to make sure that children play in the shade.
- Keep children under 3 years old out of direct sunlight.
- Wear protective clothing and sunglasses.
